The riding season can't come soon enough. Below will be mostly local, Dutchess County and vicinity, events and some more popular long distance events. Check the websites provided for more information about rides listed. I am sure I missed some local events. If you know of one and want it added please send me a note. Here are some local events coming up.Hudson Valley Warthogs Party
Hudson Valley Warthogs MC's party will be held at the Orange County Park on route 211 in Montgomery N.Y. on July 25th 2009.It will be preceded by a Poker Run both events to benefit The American Cancer Society and their fight against Cancer. More info as it becomes available.
Walker Valley Warthogs Party
The Walker Valley Warthogs have changed their date... the new date for their Annual Poker Run & Pig Roast is now JULY 11th, 2009.
Registration 9:00AM to 10:45AM at the Ellenville Elks Lodge. Ride leaves at 11:00AM.
50/50 drawing, BBQ, raffles and prizes. Pig Roast sstarts at 5:00PM. Donation $25.00 single $35.00 double.For info call 914-466-6947 or e-mail wvwarthogs@hotmail.com
All proceeds will benefit Eddie Ryan - a local Marine Sniper seriously wounded in the Iraqi War on April 13, 2005.
Elmira Chapter Warthogs Party
The Elmira chapter of the Warthogs MC will hold their run and party on July 18, 2009. More info as it becomes availableWinona Lake FD Poker Run
Winona Lake Engine Co. will host their Poker Run on Sunday, August 16th 2009. Registration 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the firehouse 160 North Plank Rd., Newburgh, N.Y. ending at "Gails's Place" Rte 17 K in Newburgh. $20.00 entry fee.

These events are not necessarily ones that we, as a club, will be attending. We feel however that every club and motorcycle event should be advertised as much as possible so that you, the individual rider, can make up your own mind whether to attend and support the event.
